Runo Plum

runo plum grew up in the woods of rural Minnesota, where she began writing indie folk-rock songs about life, love, and the occasional existential crisis. Her music sounds like it was recorded in a forest, because it sort of was, complete with wind chimes, birdsong, and emotional breakthroughs. Splitting her time between Minnesota and a cosy studio in southern Germany, runo has quietly built a following by sharing delicate songs that feel like diary entries set to acoustic guitar. Her latest EP, ‘softer’, arrived in 2024 and, true to its name, gently tugs at the heartstrings without making a fuss about it.
