MX Lonely rose from the ashes of other projects in 2022, when the Brooklyn trio decided their home recordings needed more bite. They blend shoegaze ethereality with post-punk’s icy aggression and noise rock’s raw edge, all while keeping Elliott Smith’s songwriting intact. Since early 2024, they’ve been touring nationally, supporting acts from Trauma Ray to The Used. Heavier, louder, but somehow still catchy.
