London quartet Mouth Ulcers make dark post-punk for people who own at least one leather coat and occasionally stare moodily into the middle distance. Drawing from Bauhaus, The Cure and modern goth underground sounds, they combine cavernous vocals, tribal drums and sharp guitars into something genuinely danceable. Their live shows are already selling out, proving once again that sad music remains extremely good for business.
