Londoner Leo Fincham noticed that 2010s indie pop had fallen out of fashion. As Worldpeace DMT, he teams up with Rowan Please of The Femcels to draw on the genre’s finest elements and show what it still has to offer. Their debut album, ‘The Velvet Underground & Rowan’, blends 1960s psychedelic pop with wonky electronics and inventive indie pop. The result is a collection of cleverly crafted songs that are both sincere and playful, balancing a love of the past with a sound that feels entirely their own.
