Arima Ederra

On ‘A Rush To Nowhere’, LA singer-songwriter Arima Ederra stretches time until it almost stops moving. Written across years of travelling, voice notes, journal entries and late-night reflections, the album drifts between soul, R&B, folk and leftfield pop without settling too neatly into any one lane. Working alongside longtime collaborator Teo Halm and a wider circle of producers, Arima builds songs that feel intimate without becoming overly polished, held together by understated arrangements and her warm, unhurried vocals. There’s a quiet intensity to the record: part meditation on memory and mortality, part attempt to stay emotionally present while the world keeps accelerating around her.
