Royal Blood
Drummer/gitarist-duo’s lijken het altijd goed te doen op London Calling. Maar als je wat beter kijkt, zie je niet een gitarist, maar een bassist die tegelijk gitaar en bas uit zijn instrument tovert. Het uit Brighton afkomstige Royal Blood is een bonafide originele band die veel dichter bij ouderwetse hardrock dan bluesrock staat dan al die andere snaren en drumsduo’s. Het publiek vergaapt zich aan wat deze betonkolos teweegbrengt op London Calling op vrijdag 9 mei 2014.
