Flooding are a three-piece built on a gut feeling. Fronted by Rose Brown, the band explores the spaces between slow-core, noise rock, and post-punk without ever quite settling into one. Alongside bassist Cole Billings and drummer Zach Cunningham, Brown’s songwriting leans into the abstract, prioritising atmosphere and emotional weight over genre conventions. It is a sound where softness and harshness coexist, interested more in what music forces us to confront than in technical flash. The result is a distinct, no-frills composition that feels both patient and intensely immediate.
