The Nottingham four-piece Divorce defied the pandemic odds. Emerging in the midst of chaos, they quickly gained momentum, supporting TV Priest in October 2021 and releasing their debut single, “Services,” in February 2022. Their debut EP, “Get Mean,” dropped in December, reflecting their raw evolution. Childhood friends Felix Mackenzie-Barrow and Tiger Cohen-Towell, both aspiring actors turned musicians, revived their creative synergy with drummer Kasper Sandstrøm and guitarist Adam Peter Smith. Their genre-defying sound, a blend of country theatrics and vulnerable narratives, earned them BBC Radio 6 playlisting and Sub Pop publishing.
