Clothesline From Hell is the Toronto project of Adam LaFramboise, making alternative pop that’s sharp, scruffy and quietly melodic. After introducing himself in 2024 with the EP ‘Soon We’ll All Be Smoking’, which picked up support from Spotify, FADER and BBC 6 Music – LaFramboise spent the past year writing towards something looser and more restless. His new single ‘On Ice’ shows that shift: a self-described “pity party anthem” that leans into louder, warped instincts while keeping the hooks upfront. It nods to the 90s, but pushes into stranger, more cathartic territory.
